I'm Bart Robley, a touring and recording drummer with more than 25 years of professional experience. As the longtime drummer for the Sam Morrison Band, I've performed hundreds of live shows across the United States and recorded music that has accumulated over 60 million streams and more than 750,000 digital downloads. I've also had the privilege of recording with acclaimed producer Michael Vail Blum.

All drum tracks are recorded in my professional Southern California studio using Gretsch Drums, Sabian Cymbals, Aquarian Drumheads, Audix microphones, and Oktava overhead microphones. I maintain a variety of snare drums to help match the sound and feel of your project, whether you're recording rock, country, pop, blues, Americana, singer-songwriter, or classic rock.

My process is simple:

Send me 2 copies of your song, rough mix. One with rough drums so I get an idea of what you're looking for and the second one with no drums for me to cut to. I also prefer if you can send me the click on it's own track, that way I'm cutting to your click and there's never a question. Any notes or references are also welcome.

I'll review the track and discuss the drum approach with you.
I'll record multiple takes and select the strongest performance.
You'll receive 10 clean, organized drum stems ready for mixing.
If needed, I'll make up to 2 revisions to ensure you're completely satisfied.
